since i cant go and no one can post pics of every car that is at Paso.. i just want to see what some of my fellow HAMBers are driving there.
'87 VW Golf. it averages 32 mpg,maybe a little better strictly highway. Paso is 300 miles round trip from my house,so it will take maybe 9-10 gallons at $3.22 per gallon.
same boat here... my cavalier-- but its not like i have a street legal car (besides this one) anyway. keith
Im drivin a 88' Suburban, towin a 53 F-100, prolly get 6-10 mpg, but the gas price is better than a ruined weekend cuz of my peice of shit breakin down on tha way!
'40 Chevy coupe. It averages 22 mpg on the interstate (overdrive!). Paso is 750 miles round trip from my house (plus another 100 miles of bombing around down there) so I'd better bring an assload of gas money at $3.22 gallon but it's worth it At least this year I have all the glass in so no more 80 mph wind buffeting my head for 5 hours straight
Driving my 38 Chevy, although I am happy to get the 13 mpg it does with the big engine. I am just spectating, not entering the show.
After sitting on my driveway for a bout a year and a hlf the Lincoln is going to Paso again! (here's a photoshoped picture - only one I found on my new computer - It's not that low, it's not chopped and has chrome on sides)
Wish i was taking my t modified but since its nowhere remotly close to being finished ill be driving out in my new caddy. Oh well theres always next year.
