Well almost. Last night I was a sprayin fool. It started yesterday with a coat of primer on the Dirty Little Princess's 64 Suburban. After that was gone we did all the suspension parts for Larry's and the 999. With no room in the shop we hung those parts in Larrys trailer to dry. (No the trailer's not for his car, it's for Jukeboxes) My wife, Larry and I finished the sanding up about midnight and by 4 they were done. Yes they are both shiney. We tried to pick colors that looked like they were from the 40's. The 999 is a dark purple and Larry's is a nice dark blue. Bodywork isn't perfect on either car but we didn't want them perfect. You can tell right away that Larry's is a real 32 roadster. There is a few small dents, a crack or two and a few bad welds from back in the day. Now we just have to get them together by the weekend. Clark
WOW.....I like the blue......white wheels, frame and axle would be tops. 999, turns to the Great G**** Ape. You is a busy little bee. Looks good.
i like the blue, cant wait to see it at the show i gave up on my car...im gona bring it anyways and give it another month to actually finish it now zach
WOW! and I thought you guys were being maniacs just getting Larrys car together for the Showdown. I didn't realize you were redoing the 999 as well! Can't wait to see both of them this weekend.
that blue car would look GREAT with antique white details! as usual, excellent choices on the colors clark. ed
