Im not going to go into to much detail here since it seems not many care if i take time to do these every night. But i still will for the few that are digging it... Hack got the rear end painted today and got the rear brakes all done after a big ordeal with the rear shoes and Napa having the wrong part # listed. I was poking at the driver side b pillar and got all the little patches made up and welded in place. Then by the grace of god we had sun in Detroit! So i took that time to go out side and cut the rear section of the roof off the parts car and pull the steering box off it since the 51 didnt come with one. I layed the parts roof section in place and ill begin cutting that all to hell tommrow to make it fit right. The me and hack got the front suspension all apart and checked out. I cut 2.5 turns off the coils and all the parts will get painted tommrow. All the front end is in great shape so that will save some time and money on the overall project there. Finally scored some wheels and tires today to from Tuck. So i should have some nice 14" www here in a week or so. Tommrow i plan on getting to the rear of the roof and i will have to spend a few days on that. And hack is going to put the new front brakes on and paint the front parts and what not. Then i have him pulling the dash apart so i can send it to the painter by the end of the week i hope. Im getting it sprayed Rudy Red (tm) Like a newer GMC Envoy color with some flake added. O and as we were planning out tommrow over a few cold coors lights A new Hamber from down the road stopped by. He goes by tewkes here on the Hamb but he is a Bryan with a Y just like me. Turns out he lives about 1/2 mile down the road and is building a 49 ford right now. So after the monkey is done i hope to get over there and lend a hand where i can on his 49. Well see if we can get him to skip his wedding and got to Billetproof Any way here are some more pics. if you all want me to stop boring you with this slow progress let me know...
here is whats left after a healty lowering job... Im supprised i didnt try to Zip tie the cut coils onto my shoes today
