    Now there's a car with some history!
    I saw it some years ago, when it re-emerged at the Detroit Autorama, and was surprised to see the rear wheel wells restored back to stock (after their previous, nicely done radius, as seen here in the 1980 movie "Hollywood Knights").

    I would bet this car had wide whites and chromes or different wheel covers before the skinny whites and wire caps.
