Not a Project. I bought this 53 ford at a estate sale for $5. My wife was with me when I went and got it. She asked how much I Paid. When I told her she stated I will give you $15 to leave it here. I told her it has valuable parts left. And Ive actually sold lots of parts from it. I think it still has a few parts left. HAMB members have bought the hoodhinge air box ***emblys. the front hubs bearings brake parts. some of the stainless trim. It still has the trans and rear end. some good gl*** ect.

I have always liked the '54's, have had several since my teens. This was the last one that I had, didn't keep it very long. Bought it off a guy that lived just outside of St Louis and sold it to a young guy that lived in Texas, if I remember correctly he lived in or around Denton and worked in a body shop. This one still had a 239 ohv, 3 speed w/overdrive.

Oh....I guess I'll get in on this. Here it is the day I bought it and also a month later after I cleaned it up. I'm working on and enjoying the roadster now. The '54 is next winters project. Here's the donor car...……

Here's one with a cool story. I think that I've posted it on a different thread. But it fit's here too. I was at a small car show recently. I have to talk to everyone I meet. Lol The owner of this cool convertible, is the gent in the red jacket. He {said} that he had one like it as a teenager, but he had to be older, or maybe a first car? But anyway, he just turned 80 this p*** year. So his wife bought him this nice 53 for his Birthday. How cool is that! I told my wife, that she needs to start saving her money. Lol Ron....
