Like the ***le says. I'm wondering if anyone has an airhorn from a transport truck on their ride? or a train horn?

In my Model A the ahooga doesn't instill the fear I wish it did.

For my F1 I want something that strikes terror in children and makes people scared.

  2. I'll be curious to see this one. I want a horn so loud it blows out the windows of the jack*** that just cut me off!!!

  3. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!Little 29 roadster sqelling down the highway with a hopped up 4 banger....some ***hat in a honda (why does everyone pick on hondas and not Kia or toyota or whatever) cuts you off and is actually going slower now that he is in your lane.....You blast the som-***** with a horn off a big rig and send him swirving across all lanes of traffic trying to figure out what the hell just happened....

I used to have these bad boys on my old truck. Scared the living **** out of people and i laughed at every minute of it. Also got me out of a couple accidents and woke up some non driving retards. rolling through tight old towns with tall brick buildings....man does it echo. They would be going on my Shoebox...but i cant fit them anywhere.

On our race rig we put a train horn in it(thanks Union Pacific) and mounted it to the back side of the bumper pointing to the right so when you p*** some jack*** you can scare the **** out of em....like we have done many times its great...guess its the next best thing to carying a 45..

I have one - it is a lot of fun. I'd put in a slightly bigger tank and mount the compressor on something to isolate the vibration and noise - it is loud

Old 6v. car horns are pretty loud with 12v. to them. No compressers, tanks, but still not airhorns, watch out for railroad inspectors though. sparky

My dad has one on his '50 Merc, runs it off the air for the bags. It'll make you **** your pants if you're not paying attention.

Gawd, I ride locomotives almost daily, and that whistle is damn loud when I'm 20' from the damn thing, cant imagine how loud it'd be a few feet from my head while in an old roadster, let alone under the hood of my car.

I found that the horns are not the issue but rather the holding tank, the larger the tank the more power sent through the system hence the volume is increased ten fold.
I hope you never launch an attack on me from your horn  for I will send you a love tap you will never forget!

One of Jards haulers has some ridiculous ones on his Dodge. Its wired into the electronics. You hit the Panic ****on on the keychain, and you'll know were that thing is within 3 counties.

I own a Loco horn. Would never put it on a car though! Came off of derailed MoPac coal train only have the long the shorts were crushed. Family was one of the contractors hired to clean up the coal and s**** out all the wreckage. Was sometime in the early '80's.

So no kidding they can confi****e on su****ion that it is stolen property???? WTF is that about?

Actually, Ray, I just installed an air horn on my nephew's Kawasaki. It's a very compact chrome unit from France, I believe, and it will wake up most drivers here in Florida - quite a feat. It has more of the European train sound - the shrill toot at about 125 db. I can check on where he got it if you wish. It's no bigger than the average car horn.
