Last Fall I picked up a 57 Ranch Wagon off a fellow Hamber to build into a driver. As everyone knows, time gets away from us and I have finally got some things done on it. It was a pretty solid wagon with a 292 and automatic that ran (needed transmission work). Below is a picture of the day I brought it back to Ohio from Illinois.

After getting it home, I installed a different transmission and got it running with a tune-up. It needed some metal work in the floors and quarters, as well as some re-dos of previous repairs. But after the metal work, it started coming around.

Nice work. I had a 59 2dr ranch wagon in that same color combo. The 57/58s have a much better roof treatment though.

Lookin good! I always liked that color combo. My aunt had a 57 four door Country Squire when I was a kid with those colors. My dip**** cousin totaled it and she ended up with a Rambler!!

I bet I have had a hundred people ask me what color green I used on our wagon, so I want to be one of the first to ask you the same question, it's beautiful. HRP

We had a 1957 Ford 4-door red on white Country Sedan Wagon. In the family until 1969.
