The folks over at American Hot Rod Foundation do a great job, with their Rod-Cast. Not sure how many subscribe to this, or other podcasts...but I highly recommend listening to this one. His explanation of how he built a AG '32 Replica is worth the price of admission. Despite being a huge Yardbirds and Jeff Beck (solo work) fan, never knew that basically he was playing Rock-n-Roll to support his Hot Rod addiction. S****ed together all his dough, in 1966? to buy a split window Corvette. Definitely a person I would love to spend a weekend with. Not unknown for Jeff to be found wandering around hot rod/car shows in the UK during the past decades. I certainly remember seeing him a few times at some of the early Wednesday Hot Rod nights at the Ace Café back in the early 2000's.
Yes, it is a Podcast that I downloaded to my phone First few minutes are David rambling about misc business, so be patient. Either way it’s a solid and knowledgeable organization, that deserves credibility May be able to listen on your computer I’ll check it out JT
Who still has their 1974?? Edition of Street Rodder, with Jeff on the cover?? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I found that this was a great listen, it bought back lots of memories from the seventies, onward, and quite a few of the people Jeff mentioned I have had the privilege of meeting them and having friendship with them. If you haven't listened to this.......do.
