THIS CAME IN AN EMAIL FROM A NEIGHBOR...thought id share

    "
This is my dad's uncle Herman F*********. 1915 license plate. Backstory.....Herman was handicapped from childhood polio. He grew up on the old F******* farm on the corner of Lilja and State Line Rd, in Chemung township. Anyway, Herman got around with a crutch and a cane. He had very little use of his legs. So Herman goes out and buys a new Model T in '14, the one in the photo. As you know, Model T's are foot pedal controlled, three foot pedals run the whole car. Herman eventually ran the car into a tree because he couldn't stop it and wrecked the car, but survived OK. He died from stomach cancer in 1940 in Harvard. Photo probably taken in Harvard. He worked at Starline. Old family story that we still enjoy telling a hundred years later. Of all the old family photos I have, this one is my hands down favorite. M***"

j Hansen I was intrigued by the KOOL MOTOR photo, at first wondering what country but then looked more and figured USA. I hadn't seen gasoline spelled that way. Looking to see if I could find a state or town I read the Ward bread sign, 3 slices 3 times a day boy they really wanted to sell bread. Then I read the religious phrase. Still no indication where it was so I googled it and there it is Cleveland Ohio. I was able to zoom in on the car in the bay and the plate says Ohio.
