He must be. That is wrong on so many levels. Right up there with a Rambler wagon "g***er".

There is a very, very good reason why you have not seen one of these before.

I saw the Black Bird at Bakersfield, nice car. I don’t remember seeing it go down the track though.
Those things are uni-body and a mighty stout uni-body at that. It would be like making a G***er out of a Lincoln.

I'm a little confused with all this g***er/ poser ********. Why would someone build a lookalike drag race car for the street? Can't handle other than straight line, surely not very useful other than short cruises. Why not build a racecar if you want one?

Your money, your choice. Build what you want, we all need a laugh now and then.
I saw an earlier Bird. 59 model built into a very compe***ive dirt track car.

I think I see where you're going with this, cycledelicjohn. I think I have a whiff of what you're cooking. Have you considered doing this as a jet car? Of course, you can keep all the "proper" g***er accoutrements, like the straight axel and high stance, but think of the attention that would bring from the HAMB g***er fans.

I was going to ask if a surfboard would be out of place...until I realised, that in the modern idiom, nothing is out of place.

Of course it can use a surfboard, X38, it still comes down to whether one places the skeg to the front, or the rear, doesn't it?
