I can't believe this is happening. I have for the first time not registered everything for the season so that I concentrate on getting 1 car driving well. I wanted new pipes to rap when I arrived this weekend. The car is sitting at the shop with the front pipes finished. The guy's wife had an emergency c- section. I am happy for them and the fact it wasn't a bad thing but the car may be stuck there for the weekend. It isn't looking good. Larry

 

I feel your pain!! I have been bustin my *** for the last month to get my 50 Merc and my brothers 58 wagon ready.....Well I was going for a test ride in the Merc, 3.4 miles on the new speedo,and the transmission decides to **** out on me .I now have drive in park ,neutral AND REVERSE !!! My bros wagon has some bad driveshaft/carrier bearing problems .So we will be spectators too.

 

at least you guys have GOOD reasons for ont taking your cars, i have to take the econoline since i cant fit my pinstriping stuff and camping stuff in the sedan and cant find anyone that wants to drive the van and sleep in a tent.

so im stuck taking the van and sleeping in that. at least i dont have to feel guilty with the drags not happening, i think i would have had to give someone a reach around for a place to sleep, said screw the pinstriping, and drove the sedan out just to make a run.
