I painted this van back in 1992 high metal flake green I am so happy to have it back. Nothing about it has changed except paint faded out and a few pin holes this is the only econoline that I know of that has a 390 in it! I pulled it out of my wrecked t-bird
We just had our 12th year high school reunion and I was pleasantly surprised how none of the girls had change that much.
My 50th H.S. reunion is coming up; I don't plan on going to that one either. I've missed all the previous ones, and I did't really care for most of those people then, can't see why it would be any different now; most of my friends went to a different H.S. "Got my high school girl back"; MY "high school girl", as it turns out, has been married and divorced FIVE times (only one son)!!!!! Always thought she was "the-one-that-got-away"; well I guess NOT after all! She was beautiful, but now is almost as wide as she is tall (4'-11"). My best friend from high school had a 64/65 Ford Econoline; he painted it himself in his parents driveway, having never painted a car before either. Turned out pretty good considering. It was during the CB craze, where everyone had a CB in their car/truck/boat/etc; his handle was Green Weanie. Guess what color the van was? My handle was Sneaky Snake; I don't really remember why. The "I Love Cops" bumper sticker is sorta cool; I have one I had made up of "Calvin", taking a piss on the word "COPS', in the font of the COPS TV show; I don't have the nerve to actually put it on my bumper however. Not at my age. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
Glad you're happy but once you divorce her I can't imagine why you'd ever want her back And for me that would apply to a (shudder) boogie van too
Ive got a couple ecolonines in the hoard. Drove one for a short time in the 90.s. In school I had a pickup with one of those light weight camper tops.
Last reunion I was at (45th) one seemed real happy to see me, (until she saw my wife was with me) not to bad looking for an old bat either! Seems that most of the ones that were really hot back then, either have dunlops disease or show signs of having been ridden hard and put away wet. As for my high school ride, We're still married, but the junk car I had is long gone.
Ok aside from all the reunion stuff .. I'm coming up on 36 years . How the F%^& did you stuff a 390 in between the seats of an Econoline?
I think he has gone from the H.A.M.B. I have both, an Econoline and FE's and would have loved to have seen that,, cheers
Noticing the 'I Heart Cops' bumper sticker, I had a 'No Donut' bumper sticker on one of my vans. I cut off the first part of the bumper sticker which said 'Bad Cop'. I'm not stupid.
