Technical Suggestions on What Brand WWW Bias Ply Tires

I’m finally about to put my 48 Plymouth back on the ground for the first time in 5 years. She needs new shoes. Never had to buy new WWW bias ply tires (3.5”+ WW)
suggestions please??? Coker, Firestone, Goodyear or ???
This is going on a jalopy that I’ll always keep I’m going as old school as possible like the men of the 50’s would have put on her! I was told these tires are from the 50’s since she was a barn find about being stored for 30 yrs. thanks H.A.M.B family!! Mike

good looking ride - taking some time to decide on brand, size, etc is a good idea since WWW tires are pretty expensive - do not continue driving on those 30 year old tires - search here for current thread here about life of old tires "Age of Tires"

 

Firestone, gets my vote

 

I've had good luck with the Coker Cl***ics bia-ply tires, the L-78 x 15's have a 4" white wall, I had them on the back of my Deuce pickup. HRP

 

Yeah with my 48 jalopy $688 for the Coker’s vs $910 for Firestone’s? But those Firestone’s WILL go on my MaryAnn (41 Plymouth)

IIRC, Coker is the only one making new bias plys from the old molds, no matter the brand.
