I’m finally about to put my 48 Plymouth back on the ground for the first time in 5 years. She needs new shoes. Never had to buy new WWW bias ply tires (3.5”+ WW)
suggestions please??? Coker, Firestone, Goodyear or ???
This is going on a jalopy that I’ll always keep I’m going as old school as possible like the men of the 50’s would have put on her! I was told these tires are from the 50’s since she was a barn find about being stored for 30 yrs. thanks H.A.M.B family!! Mike[IMG]

good looking ride - taking some time to decide on brand, size, etc is a good idea since WWW tires are pretty expensive - do not continue driving on those 30 year old tires - search here for current thread here about life of old tires "Age of Tires"

I've had good luck with the Coker Cl***ics bia-ply tires, the L-78 x 15's have a 4" white wall, I had them on the back of my Deuce pickup. HRP

Yeah with my 48 jalopy $688 for the Coker’s vs $910 for Firestone’s? But those Firestone’s WILL go on my MaryAnn (41 Plymouth)[IMG]

IIRC, Coker is the only one making new bias plys from the old molds, no matter the brand.
