OK So the Kiltie's reputation is out of hand. The cops had shut down the entries by 4:30 P.M. !! WOW. You could count on getting in up to 5:30 a couple years ago. Lots of excellent MOPAR stuff, hemis, 426 stage III, six packs etc. Lots of nice Chevelles, Camaros etc. Nice '57 Chev race cars, blowers etc. many nice rods and Hot Rods. Some nice flatties, some old school T's. Rarest car was a 16 cylinder Caddy roadster, mint!!. Coolest Mopar - a black '63 belivdere 2 dr sedan 426 Stage III. Dog dish caps. Second coolest Mopar was an outa sight Baracuda that was in a mag recently. Coolest 32 Ford was a 421 trips pontiac powered 5 window. Coolest old school rod was a bucket with a super channel job and a bitchin quickchage hangin' in the breeze. Coolest T was a 460 powered '27 roadster named RATSO. This car has a lot of history in Wisconsin. Many lead sled Merc's. There were so many cars that could not get into the lot, that they were lined up and down old HY 16. Sadly, including ours. Kermit
Got there at 4 and was gone at 4:45. I agree completely on the black Belvidere, the 421 deuce, the v-16 Cad, and the T (with a stirrup for the driver's gas foot heel hangin' off the trans). I also liked the dark green Merc out on the road by the entrance. Also liked the 5 window coupe with the tri-carbed Hemi. Trying to make roll call at the swap since I'll be in Milwaukee thru Sunday. vic
Vic Sounds like you have not been to Waukesha before. The swap meet is on a blacktop parking lot. There is a green building with restrooms on the Northwest corner of the swap meet. There is a guy there that sells homade ice cream bars that are really tits. We will be there about 9:45. The swap meet fills up early and 7:30 is a good time to be there. Hope to see you. Kermit
