Up for sale is the last remaining component of a stalled hot rod build. This is a 1956 Chevy 265-cubic-inch overhead V8, with 1967 single hump heads and a 1962 Corvette intake manifold. I'm currently in college and need to convert this into money quickly, because school is expensive. As much as I would like to retain it for a future project, that outcome is sadly unlikely, so I'd like to see it go to a good home. Engine has not run under my ownership; but has been stored (covered) in a dry barn. We have an engine hoist on hand, so no need to drag one along. Located just west of Indianapolis on I-70. It is sadly not in my means to ship this engine. Price is flexible; I'd prefer not to take a loss, but beggars can't be choosers. Trades considered for good condition military surplus rifles.
