I’ve heard of a lot of people using early Mustang radiators on V8 swaps. I’m running the original 223 6 cylinder and just need a new radiator. Wondering if anyone has used a first gen Mustang radiator in a 6 cylinder car....fit? Modification needed? Thanks for any advice/ help you can offer. Below is a link to what I’m thinking of using.

I think it would work, can you compare measurements? That looks like my stock '59 Ford radiator.

I have a factory replacement br*** radiator that came out of my car which was also a 223 6 cylinder manual. It is about 10 years old but only sat in the garage full of anti freeze until my change over. I'd take $100 plus shipping if interested.

Champion Radiator also makes a bolt in aluminum replacement for your car for around $200. Plenty of people running them with V8's as well including me. Good company...

Scratch that. I didn't see the link until after it refreshed when I posted. Necks are on the correct side. I dont know about fitment. But if you have to modify, then modify it. No big deal.

Measurements on the core are real close....Just wondering if anyone else had done this on a 6 cylinder car since the rad support is different.

    I used this on my 56 with a 223: https://www.championradiators.com/product/CC4348CH
Closest measures I could find at the time. Mods needed to fit. Been running good for 3 years.
    All the best.
