Impala steering wheel Q

Is a 58 Impala wheel the same as a 59? I know the horn rings differ, but could a 58 wheel be used with a 59 horn ring?

 

No. 58 is totally different. 59 & 60 are the same.

The only difference between the 58 and the 59/60 is that the 58 has 2 notches above the horn ring (along with the 2 lower ones) as the 58 horn ring is full circle. The 59/60 wheel only has the lower 2 notches as it is only has a lower half circle.

I was thinking the "V" in the wheel is at a different pitch than the 59/60. I know the trim is different for sure.

Hmmmm... Now I'm wondering.

Yeah just the two notch outs for the full ring otherwise its all good...........
