Work progresses on the 34 ,just cut six inches off the bed,a test fit and back to weld & grind.

    Looking good!

    I gotta know something..
Do you guys with those "dance floor" garages work somewhere else and then roll it back in?

I guess I'm just jealous of people's ability to stay neat while working on stuff.

I end up blowing all the crap that isn't glued down with spilled paint out the door with the air hose a couple times a year.

working in a clean garage makes it so much easier, nice truck. Are you bringing down the rear at all?

  5. One big 'attaboy on the beautiful metal work! Talk about shortening the bed just the right amount, you've got it right on the money! It not only sets off the overall look just right, it has the look like it should of been made that way which is one thing I like to see on projects. I think alot of people will be admiring that truck, it looks mighty fine all ready! My 2 cents.:D Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

Looks much better. Now, maybe a little off the top? I took 5.5" off mine. The hardest part was tapering the windshield posts but I did with some long-distance help from Radshit. Just a thought.

FYI I do make a lot of messes,I just pick up and sweep down at the end of the day, also it helps to have a paint booth and six bay shop.
