I went with Repoman. Had a great time. Got to meet a couple of Hambers and see a lot of cool cars. I was way impressed to meet Flatblack who drove up all the way from Texas, then beat-up his ride on the dirt! A real hot rodder. Also good to see some other far away plates that were driven in. I remember seeing a roadster from Michigan that I heard was driven in. Very cool. Was not so impressed to see a bunch of (gulp) trailered rat rods? From NY? What was up with that? Thanks to Repo for driving and thanks to Caffeine and company for letting us hang out under your tent to escape the sun. MIKE.

Hey Mike, you're right we are guilty as charged (Elrods Hotrods). now before you throw stones at us which is Okay too. We were working on those rides up to an hour before we left to travel 5-6 hours down to Pa from NY. They had zero road time except for our dirt track in front of our shop. I promise you that is the only time you'll ever see them on a trailer again except when we totally blow a motor, tranny, etc. which happens alot. Next weekend we all are traveling two hours on our own legs. We also had to carry alot of shit we had for sale in the vendor area. We did help out 3 fellow hotrodders busted down between York pa and ny on the way home because we had tools with us. A tractor trailer almost creamed us while helping one guy. Yes we all soiled ourselves. It was great 2 days without a shower, poop inour pants and very sick cars... Can't wait til next year. Thanks to Scarry Larry too!!! Joe (Bone Daddy)

I saw a few cars that were trailered, and a few that were not finished in time and trailed also.I say thanks for bringing em !!! It gave us more to look at:D If you left your car home because you didn't have the balls to drive it,you lost out on a GREAT show.If you towed the beast in,and shared it with everyone, props to you.If you road tripped it like most, and from out of state, you da man!!!

I didn't see no wreck either so I don't know what that's all about.

  19. The showdown this year was the biggest it has ever been (at least it looked that way to me). I had the pleasure of meeting folks I've only chatted with online, and seeing some really cool cars I hadn't seen before. Of course, the first show of the year means plenty of catching up with old friends and seeing everyone's progress on projects.
Dad and I went up to the museum which was really cool, and then the 70-something bus driver said the funniest thing I've heard in ages when I asked him if we were going to try to jump the bus on the way back... his reply "No, but i'll jump YOU!" too funny!
    Next year, I'm camping.
