That is a 270 Dodge

 

So I assume the mainafold was not made with a MoPar in mind.

 

You would be correct in some respects. Alot of "adapting" on my part. Looks very promising so far.

 

That manifold looks like it started out for an LS 1 four barrel conversion.

On second thought is it from a Mopar NASCAR engine?

 

So. What did you start with?

 

Is there a special trick for keeping the oil inside the engine?

 

Lots of silicone.

 

Intake for a 6 cyl chevy I just picked up.

 

Yeah! Looks like the one I machined from raw cast.....
