I want to give a yell to all of the HAMBers I met today at the Showdown...what great people and a great event!! Just to mention a few, I enjoyed meeting Denise the HotRodLadyCruiser, Roadstar, SUHRSC, Fe02, Gary55, RottonRon, 54ChevyG***er, ScaryLarry, and many more........I am so glad that I made the trek from the Jersey Shore! Thanks to the SUHR family and especially Zach for the great Central PA Hospitality!!

And, as always, glad to see that Douchebag, HotRodPhotos!!

Kudos to larry for putting on a great event!! I will post some pics as soon as I get them reduced and edited.........and I want everybody to know how much the Schuylkill Deathway ****ED on the way home...from Valley Forge all the way to the Walt Whitman Bridge! Aaaarrrrgghghhhhhh!!!!!

And lastly, I vote the guy with the #999 super muddy lakes modified roadster as the guy who had the most fun all day!!! Whoever you are........you've got balls, man!!!

    Best to all......CuznBrucie

Brucie....I was a miserable ***** most of the day. We had problems with 999 and it wouldn't start. It had spark but it was very week. After spending most of the day working on it I had to go releive Larry at the starting gate for the track. My wife and some of the guys continued to work on it and got it fired just in time to be the last car on the track. She took one lap with it then I let loose my fustrations from not getting it started. As bad as I felt about the car not starting, I felt like there was never anything wrong after flogging the car around the track.

I definately Second or Third that Idea!

I get so wrapped up in seeing how things are mechanicaly done and built and how they mounted this spring/that axle etc that I dont talk much and miss out alot. Course I didnt bring my hamb shirt...and 59_Elky got turned around in York...so sadly didnt meat but a few but that was my own damn fault now wasnt it!

    Meet N greet next year!
