I'm trying to remove the top cap on a 29 Coupe so we can install gl***. I removed the screws on the top of the door, but can't seem to get the top cap to budge. I searched online for images etc to see what the deal is, but can't find anything. Anyone know what could be holding the caps on the doors? Thanks RustyNCA
Hardened old glue and weatherstrip sealant? Note how there are two little dimples in the ends. Those might be hanging up on you.
Thank you, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to bend or break anything that I'm not seeing under there. It acts like there is something along the top edge holding it onto the door. Interesting that one side, the center screw is br*** and is very very soft?
