I came across an auction on Ebay for a Mopar Spitfire head. I do not know exactly what the specs on this head are and am wondering if anyone on here might? I am running a stock 230 flathead 6 in my 52 and if this head would flow a bit better I may consider throwing it on if it also matches up. Any info anyone can offer would be appreciated.

I don't think there is any difference between the spitfire heads and the regular heads, other than the script. It was a marketing thing, not a performance thing...

According to trend book 102, the chrysler 6 is 2" longer than the plymouth 6.

Hmmm...That makes me wonder if my original thought was going to work. I have a head off of a 235 flat 6 that was in a 1950 DeSoto. Now I am wondering if that one will fit or not.........
