D/FW Party w/ Eleven Hundred Springs

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ThunderRocket, May 9, 2006.

  1. Thats what I want to know, I saw some that BenD and MissD had at HSC.

    Should be some cool ones.

While we were sitting out this morning there were 4-F-18's, a P-51 Mustang then 3 more F-18's fly over while Rashy and Vi**xen were fixin to roll.
Later a B-25 Mitchell bomber came over low, not low like the Stearman, but low. ;)

    Less see dem peektures!

Ladies and Gentleman I tell you what. If you came out you know what I am fixing to say and if you stayed home then lsten up. This was the coolest get together I think I have ever been too. The Dirty's rolled in about 7:30 to some cool old planes flying above doing tricks. Thunderocket really went out of his way to put on a good b-day party for his wife. It was so cool. Lots of old cars, hot rods, a half track, and some cool planes. 1100 springs where real good and If I would have known they were so country I would have brought the wife out. About sick of all the rockabilly stuff so this hard core raw Country stuff was alright with me. Even got to see the famous Bubbaluv from High School Ceasar sing a solo song. It was really cool. Food was great , BBQ, and the weather was the best it could have been. Rashy was taking alot of pics so I am sure he will do a big post. Good seeing Rashy and his mate again. Even Ben D and his bride was there. Just wanted to say thanks from the Dirty's for some great hospitality and a fun time had by the Dirty's. Glad to see all the Hamb members there to support and it was good meeting some new friends. The next time this shindig happens again I would advise to not miss it. The only regret we had was getting there alittle late and missing some of the nostalgic planes flying. Thanks Thunderocket

Man... radial engines have a cool sound all their own.... with the wood props beating the air... man-oh-man.

Thanks again, TR. I agree that it was one of the coolest car things I've ever been to. My biggest regret was that I didn't take any more pics.

I think Li'l Slide and the Littlest Dirty should've gotten a little more excited about the planes, tho! :D

  9. There's always Next Year, I can't wait! :)

We should have taken a pic of Danny's 32 with the Halftrack.
Now that would have been hilarious.

You said something about dialing 1-900-fat-chik and next thing I knew I was indeed talking to the hand.

We missed the party on Saturday, but saw HSC rocking the house on Sunday. Damn, it was hot! Missy, was that you wearing a white HAMB shirt?
