Don't want to eat up too much space with stuff you already saw on TV, but... Shelby's guys brought this out for display...
[ QUOTE ] Can't remember who built this one, but Somebody is PAYIN' [/ QUOTE ]i think that's a dore car... ouch! nic
If I saw that cobra on the road I think it would blind me...and I would cry because I wish I could be the one blinding people in it Owen
thanks for the pics. I kind of like that Cord too. Those dollar sign wheels are hideous. as for "what will they will think of next" my friend works for one of the big bling bling wheel companies and one of the new things they are doing is faux ostrich and alligator skin wheels?? they take exotic animal skin patterns and cast or forge them as part of the spoke design. LOL. I have to say the alligator skin wheels look much better than the dollar sign wheels though.
that coffin nosed cord was built here locally. it's very inovative, but no one really gave a shit about it. he sold it last year, and he's now building an auburn boattail speedster thats looking real cool. anyone know what the tangerine dream brought on the auction block? probably a lot less with a big dent in the fender.
correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't that "dollar" wheel have the tell tale 38caliber bullet caps around the outside? jesse james touting his new advertisement gig? hmmm.....wonder if they'll be availabe at auto zone??
I've seen a guy in Dallas cruising around in one of those stainless cobra's and yes, you CAN see it coming up behind you for miles! It was a freakin' mirror hauling ass down the freeway. Wasn't that orange Cord on Ebay a few times?
[ QUOTE ] This Cord, REALLY grew on me... If only it wasn't Gold-Chainer Orange... [/ QUOTE ] That car has been for sale for almost 6 years now. I remember seeing it at the Turkey Run in Daytona back in 98 with a for sale sign. Every time I run across it on the net it's on a for sale page somewhere. Last time I saw it they were asking $100K. I wounder if it's still the same owner trying to sell it? I saw some pics of it. The fenders are attached to the back of the spindel. I want to say it just hangs off the brake caliper mount but I'm not positive. It may have something that attaches to the front of the hub as well. I'd have to see it again though.
