  3. Snow flakes made an appearance yesterday, so it's time for Snoopy to head to his winter "berth", had to top up with premium fuel, stabilizer & marvel mystery oil first :) 20181012_181327.jpg

  10. Good job, Uncle Jer!
I got my interest in things mechanical from a couple of uncles. I'm still planning on getting my coupe out some more. But, It's stored here.

Tell the truth though... u were paranoid the whole time weren’t u?? I just let the wife drive the coupe around the cul de sac when we took it for the first spin and I peed my pants a little! Ha ha

  13. Ha ha honestly I wasn't very nervous, she is a pretty conscious driver & followed my "notes" on how to operate an old car like Snoopy except for Snoopy not liking to idle in the cold temps it was a great drive !

there is no way I could park mine all winter. I just want to drive it every day. I will avoid salt, but I gotta drive it. ..... and fix my heater, I think it's plumbed wrong on the engine, as it won't self-bleed. It was a bit chilly today, some door drafts and no heat. But I still loved driving it.

I don't whether you're a good or bad Uncle, but I do know that your Niece will never be the same! Way to go, Uncle Jerry.

At some point when she gets good at knowing that car, let her take out with another girl. Just imagine all the guys passing by in their modern boring cars and trucks, checking out TWO Hot Rod girls out cruising.

I did that decades ago when I took a black tri-power 4 speed 56 Bel Air hardtop on vacation to the ocean....there was NO hesitation when I told them "go take it for a ride". The girls were gone a LONG time, and seemed "pretty darn smiley" ....when they finally got back.

What is the deal with the price sign? Is $1.51 9 price per liter ?

chryslerfan55, Stogy and Denns1989 like this.
  20. Sadly yes it is... so 3.78 litres per US gallon = $5.72 a gallon (Can funds), with exchange about $4.46 US dollars per gallon..

@Denns1989, Ole Snoops looks and Sounds Happy Now...;)

They like to stretch out the legs after a hibernation don't they...I just cleaned up the Ole Hotrod quite thoroughly myself for a first out last Sunday. Started it up and stuff was splashing onto the Nice Clean firewall & windshield in the garage...shut it down right away turned out to be Gas......one clamp needed a slight tighten...man that was a fair amount of fuel...yipes.

Have Fun...here comes the goodtimes Again...Yippee!!
