Aussie Fords are such a hodge-podge of Meteor and Ford parts. Never noticed that the star model hubcaps were from a '56, although it makes sense. Is the little cast piece below the taillight and the weird hybrid dash the only parts we did make?

FYI, we decided on an aftermarket 54 Chevy grille. I would have preferred an NOS GM, but maybe later.

  11. Roothawg... Are you planning on using the '54 parking lights or just the center bar and teeth? Post some pictures. Thanks...

With park lights. We are still a ways out.

  13. Good move. I had sourced extra teeth and turn signal surrounds for my 54, the ends are almost always dented and or rusted out.

How many teeth are you using? I know they used to sell 9 teeth grilles

It’s been so long since I looked at the grille, I can’t even tell ya.

I love the 55 and 56 Plymouth grills. Turns out they are not exactly the same. I have a right half 56 for sale (or trade if anyone is holding a right 55). I think I will create a custom grill with lots of bullets for my 53 Ford. The grill opening is similar to a 55.

56 Meteors are just gross. I have no idea how many joints the designer smoked or how the powers in the Canadian Ford office ever let it p***.

Root, I see you have already made a decision but just to create a little doubt in your mind I offer these grilles, granted they were offered when I was researching different avenues for a '52 to'54 Fords but they would work well with the '55 & '56 Fords also. HRP
