    hello from france....
this story took a wrong way for me , but now i am happy to be able to firing the engine...
here is the message i send at Paul a moment ago :

    Hello Paul.
you didn't hear me for a long time , because i had bad issues with my car.
and i don't wanted you to be worry about that.....
first issue was the trans to crank bolten , the crankshaft has been modified
for a manual trans , i removed the pilot bearing , thinking it's ok...
i measured the crank Ø hole , it is same as the trans flywheel centering , but forgot to check the deepth ,
    it was not deepth enough...
so, i don't want to remove the crank , i had to modify the flywheel with shorten the centering... (i'll send pics soon )
    ( i said before i am mill/lathe technician ).
    second issue , is my mechanic friend had a lot of troubles with his business ;
the bank agency closed his bank account , and the law said his shop must be closed too... with my car inside !!!!!!
i can't see my car for 4 months...
    hopefully it's ok now ,
i was able to firing the engine yesterday , never did before..
i primed the oil pump with a drill ... while about 10 min.. and oil came at the heads
after i put the distributor and check timing :the engine fired easy ,
turn round and smooth at idle ,
i let him turn at idle for about 20 min ,
wait 10 min , and fire it again, it fire easy, very quick , all is ok with the engine.
it is a small leak at oil filter , i think easy to fix.
it was late at this point , so i had to go ..without put the car on the road..
next time i have to put the hood back and put the car on the road .....
i keep you informed for sure...
happy new year for you and your family.
    Eric
