Hi my name is Trent, I came across the site years ago looking for info on a project I was working on. Now I’m working on my 53 Chevy 210 my wife bought me for Christmas a few years ago. [IMG]

Hi & welcome. Looks like a solid car to start with. Is it running & driving? If you have not already found them you can check out www.chevsofthe40s.com for many parts as they stock from 1937 - 1954 parts. Also check out www.fillingstation.com as they stock 1916 - 1964 parts. Both have online and paper catalogs. Chevs of the 40's actually has three separate catalogs, car, truck, street rod.
Post some photo's as work progresses.
    Good luck, Jim

Great. My Avatar is the 1957 Chevy 235 inline 6 with hot cam, bored 0.060 & goodies you can see & some you cannot. It is currently not drivable as it got severely rear ended back in May. I am working on my 1950 Plymouth right now and should have it on the road soon. Just have a couple of days work remaining but my mechanic is currently out of town on regular job. Likely will get the 46 Chevy Coupe frame pulled straight next year and work toward putting it back on the road. I have been tinkering with the idea to converting it to a pickup in the style of WW2 era by making a slide in box for the trunk as many drivers did as they could get more gas ration stamps for a pickup than a car. I have friend who is a retired home builder & cabinet maker who has volunteered to make me a slide in wooden pickup box with tail gate. I have seen some of the wooden trunks he has made for the model A's & such and they are nice. To do this I likely would coat inside of entire trunk with spray in bed liner to prevent rust before I slide in wood box. Jimmie
