Anybody know of someplace that can rebuild the 1959 steering pump, power valve and power ram? Seems the 59 is different from all others, buying new is near impossible. I've also considered swapping in a M2 front end, or maybe one of thesewww.unisteer.com/fairlane/57-59-ford-rack-pinion-kit-for-traditional-motors.html , but either is expensive. Is the factory steering worth salvaging?
I would try to salvage the factory PS. There are services available for the cylinders and pumps. Some parts suppliers like Jerry Miller would know exactly who to go to. C & G Ford has some PS parts, check with Concourse Ford too.
The pump and ram are not so difficult, it's the power valve I can't find anyone to rebuild. Any ideas?
