    looking for ideas on custom grill and turn signal options on a 55/56 Ford? What do you have?

    I've seen the small vertical bars on the stock grill blacked out with flat black paint and it looks pretty good, it kind of gives the illusion of a bar grill. Sorry no pictures.

    I have seen that done Mark and consider doing it myself. Maybe sometime in the future when I have lots of spare time. LOL

    I like the 54 Chevy grill,but they are ridiculously expensive!

    "Back in the Day" it was off to the local wrecking yard with a tape measure and your good imagination,this can be done today but your pickings will probably be 1980's parts and later.

    Nice!! I used the stock lenses and mounted a white LED Halo Ring inside for driving lights. The only bad part is that the 6500k super-white light of the LEDs made my Halogen headlights looks so pathetically dim and almost yellow-tinted, that I had to convert the Headlights to LED as well. Pix to follow.

    as good as all these grilles are....are they really an improvement on the original ?????
    i really love customs and mixing and matching parts....but...do we alter just for the sake of change or
    to "beautify" the cars of our choice
