Alex, I think they drive chopped, gold '54 Chevys! Yeah, I want to join a club too, but there aren't any good ones in San Jose, do you know of one?! Haha, but seriously...thanks again for helping me out with those upper shock mounts yesterday.

Nothing wrong with clubs, Been part of them, been solo for a number of years and just hang with some friends. At times it would be cool to have a plaque to hang from the bumper when you travel in groups but its all about friendship and hanging with like minded guys.

The only club we have here is a streetrod club. they did not want me when I only had the 53wagon, now with the Sedan, they would welcome me.. Do not want to be part of anything like that...

I part of the DoucheBags... thats enough

If you have to ask that question after 'building bikes and cars forever' . then that club aint gonna let you in anyway...You should know who the cool kids are.

Im a prez of a MA club (www.bearingburners.com) and sometimes its more work that its worth.
Just find like minded people and hang together . Make your own damn club if you feel you all have to have a NAME.

I personally would never join a club that was willing to have me as a member.

  10. but there are other reasons for that...;) :)

I think Germ once said that he would start his own car club and call it the "Foreskin Draggers"

i'm starting a car club for ***ty dancers/hot rodders and have started to accept applications. First, we'll need a couple photos of your equipment so get it all buffed and polished and send 'em in. We're particilarly interested in your stance, profile, and....well...let's just say your ***s and ***! If you have a car that's ok too.:D

Seriously, I think the most "successful" clubs align themselves with a charity of some type. They set up shows and runs to help a childrens hospital, rehabilitation house, shelters, or some organization that is based in helping out others. It's a noble cause and provides great media coverage of the club promoting a positive at***ude and image.

Make sure you check out the club to see if their ideas/at***udes are similiar to yours. Good luck!
