Those aren't working shops, they're museums! Too clean to be working shops! Working shops have to be full of clutter, dirt, grease, old parts you saved but can't remember why, extension cords and air hoses.....you get the picture. Or is that just mine?

My friend Roger asked about a 2 bay Flying A gas station about to be torn down.
The owner of the land said "$1 if you dismantle it and haul it away."
Rog got his 2 sons and a neighbor with an old Chevy flatbed, backed the flatbed up to the building and started unbolting.
Just like roofers taking the old roof off, but CAREFULLY.
They numbered every panel, hauled it to Rog's place. His concrete pad was 8 feet wider than the building, and the length was perfect!
Roger has his own service station, with a 'bell hose' that works! No gas, though...

I'd love to have a great looking shop like many of y'all but spend all my money on my cars. Over the years I've spent all my money on cars, women and booze. The rest I just wasted.

I've only gotten started decorating. Cant leave an antique store or swap meet without grabbing something. Have lots more old car ads to put in frames and started collecting some old steering wheels.

After 20 plus years in the automotive aftermarket and calling on plenty of jobbers and repair shops, I did manage to get a couple wall hangers, most of these are NOS, never seen the sun. The other walls and ceiling are not quite as colourful.

A gentleman's in the area. He's not a car collector, but has built an amazing garage with his collection of over 50 years. A fun place to visit.

That one is surprising to me, I figured it's only car collectors who also collect this kind of stuff. Interesting to find out there's collectors of the "stuff" but not the cars.

These and the above pictures are all I have that show some of the things we have hung on the walls or set on the floor. The last picture is my corner where I hang out on the HAMB. The Black 56 Harley Panhead setting out from the others belongs to a freind of ours Bob Owens. Bob owns a salvage yard in Wellington, TX., "Owens Salvage" he's a really nice guy with a cool shop full of memorabilia and vehicles.
