First thanks for all of your replies. They are cunifer, an alloy that consists of copper nickel and steel. They are very common here in europe. Yes, we have a nickle/copper line here, don't know if ours has steel in it also. I like to use it as it is very easy to bend and flare. ours does not look so much like copper, just has a little copper tint. Anyway, very nice car! Now get out and drive it.
Cross members are pure 'textbook', front shaped tie bar is superb. Chop is so subtle (and well done) that some of our 'HAMB Sharpies' missed it! I knew it was chopped, but would have guessed only 1.5"-2"! Your Scandinavian critics have apparently not 'read the Book' on Biblical hot rod building. You have won it, in spades.
Please dont throw my "scandinavian critics" under the bus! They are very knowledgeable! It's not that people tell me it's a peace of crap, it's a nice enough car. But there are so many very much nicer cars here, that this run off the mill primered traditional hot rod, just drowns. It's just that. But to me ofcourse, it represents a victory of sorts... I began the cooper nickel lines about 2 years ago. Volvo has used it for DECADES!!! I never seen it become a problem. So I am sold on the material. Plus stainless steel that gets over 5/16" is a real PITA to work with. I have broken/ warrantied my Snap On benders and Flare Tools more than twice because of stainless steel.... Model A’s are deceptive at times. I’ve been caught out the same way, I think that with the fenders off the proportions sometimes give the appearance of stock height.

Thanks. No I dont have a build thread, but I do have a few pics from when I build the car. First, some pics of the chassis. The chassis is ofcourse model A, the rear end is a 34 ford, the k member is original 32 ford, the pedals are 33/34 ford, the trans is 39, and the engine is a 59ab.
