I've been a car guy all my life and recently picked up this unfinished 30 model A high boy roadster. The guy that built it said that he got the fiberglass body from a private owner but doesn't know who made it. I have not been able to find any manufacturers that made a 1930 model A roadster. I hope some of you veteran builders could give me some idea of who might have made it. It's a pretty basic build, mild 350 sbc/ th350, 8" Ford rear, coil overs in back, dropped tube axle in front, glass 32 grille shell, louvered Rootlieb hood. It is drivable but needs paint, interior, & a few other details. I smile every time I take it out for a ride. I am sure to have more questions as I work toward finishing it up.
Post some pics of the firewall, floors ,trunk and underside. There are guys on here that may be able to id with that info.
I will be glad to do that but I may have to wait to the weekend to take the pics, a little thing called work gets in the way. where are you in Jersey? I used to live in Bridgewater.
