Aight I'm 100% out this month. I'd committed to bending up and welding in a rollcage for a Houston Firefighters Toy FJ40 that afternoon/night. Was the only day our schedules flanged up. I know I don't need a rod to attend as well. But with the Rivi still at Fat Luckys I'd feel naked if I showed up in the diesel. Anyone been making it up to the Champions Forest Kroger on Saturday nights?
I've been doing the Champions Forest thing about every other week. I see Rodney, Danny and hid dad, and a few others out there. There's been a helluva lot more "hot rods" this year than last year. Granted there is still a large number of street rods and muscle cars. A club called Los Chinos have been bringing their sleds up. Nice rides. The week before last we had 360 cars. That's a show.
I know a couple of the Los Chinos guys. I recalled it all from last year but Rodney refreshed my memory on the whole shebang. 360 WOW!! I need to get my *** up there on Saturdays that I'm not working.
I'm outtie this week too, gotta work some OT, people are falling out by the dozen. Someone's gotta be around to mop up the overtime- why not me? Keep it going Lucky! Scott

Who else is coming out ? My buddy with the next Bread van project will be coming out. Not exactly a hot rod or a custom but its cool in its own way.
Change o' plans, I'm in! Things got canceled and rescheduled and what not, so bring on the LoneStars. BTW I Love that bread truck. That thing dragging in front of the AustinPD was one of my favorite memories of this past Roundup.

That one was sold at the round up to Gas Monkey. We got $10,000 for it. We bought another on the way home from the round up with that money. We picked up a 1960 ford b van. Drove it home from Brenham . Got it for $1200. Going to be even better.
Well, well. This little Cruze Night is shaping up nicely. See ya'll there. Now if I can only sneak out of work and get the truck inspected over lunch, all will be right with the world.
Sounds like fun! Hopefully when I'm rolling through Texas in a few months I'll be able to catch a cruise night!

Fat Lucky has had her since Roundup. I'm really starting to miss that car. Sounds like done by the end of the month, got to call tomorrow. $10k for that Bread Van????? No way! Score, you guys did damn good. I found a '50 Divco a couple weekends ago. The short one like 12 foot long. The running gear, and drivetrain were stolen long ago it looks like. Looked like it may have rearended something to take it out of service. But the clowns didn't leave it up on anything when they yanked everything just dropped it on the ground. Now the thing is starting to get the cancer. I p***ed, was going to be too much work, and all I really wanted were the wheels which were already gone.

Oh yeah had a damn good time. And for the record its Weirdo Wheeler, Greenteeth, and Weirdo's wife Rose. They make up the Naked people. Brian you need to stop lurking and get on here. Was cool you came out. Funny how we find our way to the HAMB.
