I've had a set of 16" "United Metal Wheels" for years but haven't found any references to them. They appear similar to Clark and have cast metal spiders and steel rims. One ring has remnants of chrome plating and caps were originally chromed with no logo. Would they possibly designed for balloon tires or just an aftermarket heavy duty rim with a snap ring? Here's some old photos... The last pic is what appears to be a pair of these on a Model A coupe modified for towing duty.
