Technical Model a frame dimensions

    I was checking my model frame against blueprints from wescott website,it shows width at rear to be 39 3/4 mine is about a 1/2 less.What do you guys measure? Thanks

    This was a already done car many years ago I am moving the rear crossmember back to clear the rear end so I can lower it.

    I think and it has been awhile 39 3/4 sounds right. Is it a model a crossmember or a home made one just being nosy.

    Widths can be looked up. Wheelbase is typ. 103-15/32". Deuce is ~ 106+

    Sorry I needed the width of the rear cross member not the wheel base for a model A My width is narrower than wescotts blueprint. It was a buggy spring car,I ***ume it is a stock cross member.

    have a pretty good frame, it measures 39.5" wide where it meets the rear xmember…
    xmember was an inch or so wider than the frame on each side... HIH...

    Although there are a few wrong measurement on the wescott plan 39 3/4 across the frame rails at the rear crossmember is correct. Stock rear crosmember is 43" wide 41" centres of body mount holes.
