In 1971 (ish), the older brother of a friend of mine had a set of Good Year Blue Streak Sports Car Specials on his AAR Cuda.

Totally unrelated story:
Many years ago I get a phone call from him, says he heard from a mutual acquaintance I had a spare 66/67 Nova 4 speed console, wondered if it was for sale, told him no.
Get another call asking again, no.
Called me again and I said OK, only if I get MY price for it, agrees to my price, buys it.
Some time later mutual friend calls and says he's saying I screwed him on the console.
Whatever, they are now going for 3-4 times that price.
Regarding the Nomad, I heard somewhere Russ is not pleased with the cars new owner, something to do with things being claimed about the Nomad that weren't accurate.
Life moves forward.

You can just feel the fun in this pic! You did do some snow drifting doughnuts didnt ya?...

 

Its a car I have been aware of since I was 6 years old. The original owner bought it in June 1957 and she died in June 2007. One of my best friends bought it from her estate and owned it for 11 years. I bought the car from him last May. I have the original sales invoice and records up to present. I will share more pictures later. 283, 2bbl, powerglide. 1962 327 and 4 speed in its future!

 

Here is part of one I put together today:

 

My buddy Steve built this Nomad between 1978-1987. 1st photo of the car around 1985 heading to a car show, before being sold in Lake Havasu in 1987. After 31 years in Lake Havasu, AZ. the Nomad is now in my garage and it still sports the same wheels, 327, paint and striping that Steve had done back in 1981.
