1952-59 Ford 57 ford forum??

I know there are some members here who are 57fordsforever.com members. I couldn't get on this morning.....got an "account suspended" notice. Doesn't sound like a problem on my end, but just checking to see if everyone is getting that. Hope it's a temporary thing. I notice last night the owner posted for the first time in months, maybe he's lost interest?

I got emails from other 57 forum members re the same. An email has been sent to James (owner) making him aware if he wasn't.

Yes, it's back up. I did a post here yesterday, but apparently forgot to hit the "post reply" ****on before I left. James forgot to pay the light bill, lol. Lot's of relieved forum members yesterday afternoon!

 

I read elsewhere that the owner wanted to get rid of it, maybe on the Hotrod Forum? Hope it stays around. I'm not a member but I do visit it.

 

If you're talking like a year or more ago, you may be thinking of the original 1957ford.com forum, which the owner did want to sell. Fortunatly a bunch of 57fordsforever forum guys pitched in enough for James to buy it and combine the two. The 1957Ford forum wasn't well set up, his system had crashed, etc etc, and it's been a huge project for James to input the 20ish year collection from scratch into a new forum. I'm not saying James hasn't wanted to sell the 57fordsforever forum, he's got 9 kids, a physically demanding job that entails traveling, the man has gotta get burnt out at times! Nothing has been mentioned on the forum to that affect.

 

I had read something on it recently, I'll have to find it again.
