what pressure are you guys running in your front and rear. it seems if mine is off a pound it acts different, i havent quite dialied it in, but with more air, it seems to follow every damn track on the road, im running 22-23 now and it still tracks a little on the NJ turnpike.
23lbs in the front and 27 in the rear, but the centers on the rears are kinda' getting worn from road swelling. Oh yea, those darn bias plys will chase every road track. Try to drive a little to the right of the road and it will seem a little better, but keep your hand on the wheel for white knuckle driving. Chris Nelson Kansas
i run 6.00x16's on all four corners fla roads are for **** anyway so i gotta run kinda soft i run 22 in the front and 25 in the rear
Ive got a 'gl*** '29 roadster, so the weights less, but Ive got 7.50-14's in front with 15 lbs, and 8.20-15s in back with 13 lbs. Tracks well and rides well.looks like you have 16s and a heavier car though.
'31 roadster w/ 7.50's and 8.20's.......18 cold all around....They will grow about 3 lbs. during extended running........Anything higher hurts my kidney's
ive been running about 22 in the front and 18 in the rear on my car with 6.00 and 7.00 16's...seems to not be too bad but i think i could go a little lower zach
We are running 5.60x15 fronts and 8.20x15 rears on the wife's 33-5W fully fendered and they had 32!!! in them when I got them from the tire guy. Phoned him and he said 28-30 but I've got 27 front and back at present. Looks like I could drop them a bit. Rides hard and lotsa rattles but it's a hot rod. Oh and you need two hands on the wheel or else. I can remember back in the 60's when the only radials were Michelin and Pirelli and back then 24 lbs was normal for cross plys. Swifty
