Wow.......it is on Epay......imagine that and you are letting 3 million guys know about it this week or what ever the traffic is here on the HAMB. I wish that I had a bunch of 32' stuff to sell and I would put it on Epay and then "tag" it over here, I could retire. Oh yea, and nice "sprayed" disc brakes.

  9. he says he'll pick you at the airport. For 35,000, it better be in a Limo, with his loose and willing daughter decorating the rear seat.

Only thing I like is the front rims, they kinda look like those divco's. Why would anyone use that firewall?

I see more original 3-window bodys for sale now than 5-windows....at least on ebay.

That's what my first house cost. Stupid money and it's not a nice car.
One born every minute. Of course this **** still hurts the little guy in the
long run. Some A-holes think becuase they see this it's real world and then
the myth perpetuates itself. Just like the 3 million dollar hemi.

Once I saw the firewall, and the lack of a cowl vent, the deal was off. Once I saw the frame, I laughed so hard I had to go to the bathroom...

He's also got a 62 chevy for sale "THIS CAR IS A TRUE SURVIVOR AND IS 100 PERCENT ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR MOTOR AND ******."

In my hood, that's called "NOT ORIGINAL."

Rear suspension looks like an excellent foundation for converting it into a pickup truck...at least the crossmember's still there. That car has not had a good life in recent decades.

Look at his other auctions. No reserve. But he will not tak eoffers less than the starting bid. He wants 40 large for a 57 chevy convert. And its all patch panelled together.

I guess some people think different than me.

What a freakin' joke...if he'd finish the car, it might be worth $35K, but not w/ the circa '92 Mustang motor...
"Don't make lower offers, I won't take anything less that $35,000"
    What a dumb ***.

35K ( ++++ ) would have been OK by me if it looked something close to this .. :

There used to be a T-Shirt available with that saying on it ... :)

A guy I know had one, and a Model A with Deuce bumpers and gas tank  and he delighted in wearing it ... when he knew I would be around ... trying to get a statement from me about the shirt. After 5 or 6 times of wearing it without me making a comment ... he asked me .. ' How you like my shirt '?
I replied The only person who would wear that shirt ... NEVER HAD EITHER ...

Never saw that shirt again on him ...

The 3W in the eBay auction ... is overpriced IMHO ...
Like most of his stuff ... but ... I would not be surprised if it did not sale ... Because if you had a real poo one ... like this one ... which just got $10,877.77 last week on eBay ... :( ... you would have over 35 thousand in it, getting it to the present state his is in... if you had to pay body shop labor rates...

I do not like the REPRO shell, filled roof and the filled cowl, almost no wood and the homemade firewall . I see no dash and the garnish moldings LOOK like fibergl*** ... to me ... BUT ... with four fenders and the stuff there ... it MIGHT sale ... eBay is a funny place. As for seeing more 3W's on eBay now than 5W's ... people are seeing the money some of the better 3W's are bringing and put theirs up hoping to do as well. Sort of like the Barrett-Jackson thing ... if that one is worth that much ... mine is worth **X.

    I wish him GOOD LUCK ... :D

    His past auctions...
    '31 Model A COMPLETE - $10,400
'65 Chevelle Convertible, not in the best shape - $3,500
    '57 Bel-Air COMPLETE - $11,400

How in the hell does this guy justify a $40K shell of a '57 convertible?!?!
It's this kinda **** that inflates our cost of doing what we LOVE to do, and this ****head is just playing ****in' games and never finishing ****!! He just tears 'em apart, sprays 'em in primer, and throws some ****-box engine/****** combo in the deal, and now HE'S the authority on hot rodding. WTF???

One basic rule of thumb is that many rodded/restored cars contain a heavy load of NEGATIVE progress--bad choices welded in, ugly paint with bondo cracking through, oxcart suspensions tacked on like this car...and the seller VALUES that bad work. I have learned that a car with a bad paint job over bad body work is essentially unbuyable--the ***** owner views the work as finished restoration, even though the 100% bondo lip on the "NEW" quarter is dropping chunks of freshly painted mud on the ground right in front of him.

killer! whack the roof, 7.50's on the rear and it's good to go for another 75 years. To me thats almost the perfect potential rod.

But it works for HIM ...
    He's making money $$$ ...

Not everyone is a HAMBer ... nor have the knowledge or access to the knowledge that keeps them from buying a " rolling POO fest " like this 3W.
    :)

Not everyone is a broke, too many projects dreamer either ...
35 large is pocket change for a good many people. ( not me ... unfortunately ) but there are LOTS of folks ... some here ... that could buy it and never even phase their pocketbook.

And I promise you ... that a few of the 32 3Windows you see here already have 2, 3 or even 4 times 35 thousand dollars spent on them ...

    Like this one ...
