Very cool, love the old school coloursI have that model,I think I'll be doing something similar to that with it
Missing Link Resin used to offer them but I'm not sure if they still do. I got some from them but that was several years ago.
Hey, early birds, you better have something to post on Sunday! This is the first stop I make. Oh, alright, nice work Al, Edco and 41 coupe.
My Dad worked for his Uncle back in the 40's at a Family owned Furniture store where he met our Mother. Found this old COE and decided to make it look similar to Dad's old delivery truck. I built the box out of plexiglass and my Son-in-law made me some nice graphics to finish up the model.
Sorry about the duplicate image and the dust. I built this a while back and just got it out to clean up and display
Dust is a natural element in a garage. You sure have a lot of time in all of that and it looks great!!!
Thanks! Iwas laid up for a bit, and couldn't go to the garage. So I made one. The tool boxes, cherry picker, shop vac, drill press, brooms, guns, jack stands, and a lot of other stuff were hand made. My wife laughs about the trash by the trash can. The signs were cut out of magazines. The truck is a kit chopped up and the coupe is a resin body and scratch built frame. The engines and extra parts came from the parts box.
What’s up guys. I figured I’d join in on this thread. I’ve been working on this 49 Merc for my little brother as a Christmas Gift. I screwed up on the headlights & had to remove them & install them properly for the frenched headlight look. I’ll post more pics soon. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
