On my recent trip to USA with the Hudson. The first 2 someone took and somehow I got them?The others me with the camera at 65mph on the highway.

Between Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri.

On the way to the first R&C Americruise. Steve Osborn ("weeds" on here; RIP) and his son Jack were about 100 feet in front of me in his '29 roadster pickup with no top or fenders. We were running about 70+ at the time. He had a lift off top for it but it was in Clarence (my panel truck) because earlier in the day they were cooking and wanted the top off.

The heavens opened up and nearly drowned us, but Steve didn't want to stop to put the top on; per our CB conversations. His comment was that the faster he went the drier they stayed.

So, behold:

 

I miss Steve.

 

Me, too. The next time we get together remind me and I'll regale you with Steve Osborn stories.
