Went there several years ago with my Father, he was not into cars so he took me to give me a day doing something I enjoy rather than another day fixing things in their condo. When we left he could not stop talking about how impressive the Garlits history and willingness to approach things from a different perspective were. One of my favorite memories of my Dad, sadly one of the last.
Stopped in seven years ago on the way back from a Disney trip. Had to go through a little quickly. I wish I could have taken more time to look around. I don't recall seeing that wall of Flathead intakes. That's pretty cool to see. Hopefully I will get to stop by again someday.
If it helps to motivate I took around 400 pics so this was a fraction of the stuff in there and I didn’t have time to walk through the cl***ic car museum this time. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I've been once and it is an amazing collection. I need to go back for a guided tour now. When I went it was the day of the Billetproof show. Don was taking pictures and had a couple of his personal garage open too
That Merc used to look like this. Rudy`s Green Flame as it is on the Robert Williams poster, Custom by crunch.
Does anybody have some of those orange colored plug wires. I need a few for my 50s flathead. I ask Don if he had any extra & he didn't. I said if I could have gotten closer to a few of the engines he had on display I would have borrowed a couple. He said it was very good that I didn't . If you have some just send me a pm Thanks.
