So....I'm driving to work this morning (lucky me) and I get lucky/unlucky enough to see these guys on the road to Paso. I say lucky because I never get tired of seeing sweet *** old cars cruising down the highway. Unlucky because I have now been reminded of what is going to be going on while I work today and tomorrow. I work right off the 101 freeway and they were just all cruising together. *******it. Joe
You should look closer, you might see my shoebox EVERY morning.91,110,5,60,57,22,everyday!I never see any other cars,to or from work, except Friday nights.Too bad more guys don't drive their cars.My '49 Mercury will be a daily driver too!
Yes , they are the Auto Butchers. One of their guys painted my friends Caddy. No matter who they are,I envy them. Theres nowhere I'd rather be that driving down the freeway in my old car.
It is so much more fun to see them going down the Hiway than to stand and look at them on a Hot Asphalt parking lot. At least when The cars are moving you know they were made to drive as well as look good. But then again... I do like to get up close and look real good. Gumpa
You have probably seen many more everyday. You just have to have your x-ray gl***es on to see into the trailers. I agree it's always a great day when I see an old car driving down the road. I saw a great orange 55 Chevy Hardtop go by on an open trailer the other day. Straight axle suspension up front that was all chrome. It looked like the rear suspension was all chrome to. looked like it was on it's way to or from a shop. I hope to see it somewhere I can get a closer look.
I'm impressed by the whole see cars, find camera, operate camera, get pics of all cars, don't die thing.
Dreadman,i'm leaving my house at 3AM,and hooking up with that guy who drives that gl*** '37 that looks like rusted steel.Remember,he was at the ALSA pinstripers show, haggin out with me.We are meeting about 10 or 12 of his friends where the 405 and 118 cross,or right there somewhere.I'm bringing the Impala.See you there.
I've been seein' them motor up the 101 since yesterday morning. P***ed a couple of sleds up by La Conchita yesterday, a slammed pickup this morning, and saw a bunch going North when i was on my way home this afternoon. I'll be up there in the morning on Sat.
