How many of these blocks do you have? Try one of these suggestions in each cylinder and write a book on the results. If everyone here bought a copy to see their name in print you would have enough money to buy what ever ****** you wanted! :D I get a copy for free because it was my idea.

There's nothin' in this world that won't back down to "Hell Fire". Get the ****in' RoseBud out and liquify that candy*** Aluminum. The rust
will leave the scene at the same time. Whenever I'm tired of Rusty **** givin' Me a hard time, I give it Hell.
Maybe a good Idea to fill the water jackets to keep the walls cool.

You are right about the rosebud, but liquify? Heat really helps, fast heat. I call it freindly fire:). You need to get in there and heat the piston fast. If you heat it slow you get to much heat into the block and it does no good. Heat the piston, and let it cool, then hammer it out. No matter what you do these pistons will have to be hammered out. Get a big hammer and swing it like you have a pair... Just stay on the pin boss...

This was a great read. Starting to remove my stuck pistons from a numbers matching 69 428 CJ Mustang. Heads have been off exposed to everything since 79. Like the diesel and lye suggestions but the best I think is the metal strippers. I'll try to find one locally if I can't get them out mechanically.

Flip the block upside down then fill a piston with chipped dry ice-frozen CO2.Let it cool and shrink the piston for 5 minutes then try moving the piston with a block of wood and hammer.
