Go-go, usually, I'm the 1st one to say ''cut it''. But those pie crusts fit, and violating that paint would be a tough one. The slicks totally change the look vs. street tires. Grill looks really good, but may block a lot of airflow. Even though it's full of holes.
Yeah the biggest priority for me on this car is to preserve the old patina paint. On the grill I thought of that too but, if it doesn't work I will switch to bigger holes. It worked for the small block for the little bit we drove it, but we'll have to see how it cools the blown big-block. I love the look of it though. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
The blue D/G 57 nomad with the flip front end is just awesome! The picture is just cool all around! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Agreed. But then again, I'll dork out on almost any '57. Notice the shortened fender spear on the door. Also the radius job, fenderwell headers, and cool drag trailer.
"SQUARE Exhaust exit???" Looks like it was just a different way of complying with the gas class rule that restricted the exhaust system to a maximum of two outlets. It was not until 1967 that the NHRA allowed individual headers on gassers. Roo
Mike Finnigans 55 ran a high 8 sec. on drag week. He came in second place in the gasser class. 55 with a 871 blown aluminum hemi.
I had not seen “the jersey” car before. Man I like that car! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Let’s see if I can get insulted again...I believe these should all fall under the Gasser context..If anyone has a problem, please air your greavences with the SEGA...they allowed these cars to run at their event...I repeat...don’t whine on this thread..
Thanks...I try to add what I think most folks on here would like to see...and yeah I thought it was pretty cool. I appreciate the thumbs up..
You are welcome. Now for the critique. I like what you post because I like the gassers and I like the stockers but you can’t get too sensitive & hurt every time you post a bunch of stockers on a gasser thread. If you are going to continue posting the wrong cars on the wrong thread you gotta grow some thicker skin and know that you are going to catch some flak for it. Or just humbly admit you don’t the difference and learn from the guys who know. Or not because I enjoy reading the drama on my lunch break.
