This one's a real piece of work!

With the shaved drip rails and hump-back, it reminds me a tad of John Mazmanian's Ayala-chopped Austin.
(I know it's a stretch, but that's what popped into mind.)

Today I was looking through the first magazine's that I ever bought off the rack...year was 1977 I had my driver's license for a year so far and I was in my first year of high school.... any ways the Ford convert in the previous posts looks a lot like one that I just saw in one of the magazine's ... couldn't be the first one because the car was built in 75 and the second one is chopped more just saying...also one of the mag's has one of my favorites of the time and still is if it's around still...even though it's not a custom it's Kool...and it can crush beer cans...look close under the front bumper.... I have another mag that shows it doing it...and there is one that is still around being advertised for sale.....the chopped Chevy.... This one I posted quite a while back ...and mentioned that it belonged to someone that I know and that I had heard that he had a shop fire and at the time I had not found out anything about if he had lost anything.....well I did find out that there where originally two cars built ...one had a 6 with a Wayne 12-port head, that's the one in the article , the other one had a 265 V-8 and a 4spd....the one in the article is not around any more and the other one was the one that was in the fire along with three other cars they all survived the Chevy suffered some bubbled paint and a damaged hood but it's doing well in fact it pulled up in my driveway this summer....another friend of mine ,Mike, who's been trying to buy that car for years , he already owns a 50 fleetline that was bought new buy the parents of one of the guys that built the two Chevies, he got a call from John the owner and told him about the fire and if he wanted the Chevy to come and talk to him ....well Mike ,the new owner, is quite a B.S'er so he must of said the right things ..... The Caddy headlights are perfect on the Chevy above!

The famous East Coast kustom, "the Fabian Continental", featured Caddy lights at one point, but in heavily hooded form.
