I searched for a set of tail light lenses for my 53 Henry J for 24 years, found a n.o.s. Set , for quite a bit more than I wanted to pay, bought them on the spot. Search over

I've been searching for the set of ET slotted aluminum wheels I sold 25 years ago for 24 years.

Why did I ever sell them? Dumb ass.

Been searching for seX since I was...hmmmm...long time. Lol.
    Can't remember Y.

Oh, okay...how about I've been looking for my brain ever since I sold my roadster body and deuce frame. Fkn moron. :(o_O:rolleyes:

Simply beautiful hubcaps, 31Dodger. Beautifully simple.
    Congrats on finding them.

I like the thread, bct. I've wondered a time or two if we could maybe have a way to post stuff we're looking for rather than in the want ads. Just in the spirit of helping each other find stuff. I get the idea that not many people actually search want ads to see who's looking for what. Maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway...wouldn't mind seeing this kind of thing more often.
Hope everybody finds the elusive piece of their puzzle.

...oooooooooooh.............I've been looking for a woman who's a little of both...

Rocky, It looks like you also need the inside A Pillar Garnish Moldings. They are a little easier to find if you don't already have them, and I'm pretty sure they are also available repo.

  24. Searched for about 15 years to find a decent 1931 Dodge Brothers "shooting star" radiator cap for my coupe. It is a 6 month production cap from September, 1930 to February, 1931. Mid February is when the Dodge Brothers decided to switch to the "leaping ram" cap. post-37352-143142793875.jpg post-37352-143138003217.jpg

Been checking out T-Buckets at shows, cruises for 40 years or so looking for the one I built 67/68, sold it as a roller to pay the Doctor and Hospital bill for my first daughter. No Regrets, I was a kid working 2 jobs, didn't have much $$$ involved, just time, made a nice profit. The frame was similar the plans in CarCraft magazine, but I used a model A front end, spring suicide style, spring mounted in wishbones, model T spring back, Ford wishbones, Speedway glass body, SBC, Power-glide, 57 Chevy rear end. I built frame, all brackets, machine work in shop after hours where I served my Tool & Die apprenticeship, I feel I would recognize my chassis if I ever came across it. Have some pic's somewhere, now I'll have to go look for them. LOL

I was looking for a car I rode around LA in back in 1974 for over 40 years, found it and it can't be bought.
